Kevin Lowe
Kevin Lowe is currently the Inspector, Aboriginal Education, at the NSW Board of Studies. He is closely involved in the development of policies and strategies that support Aboriginal communities to establish sustainable language programs. The Board has been involved in development and implementation of the NSW Aboriginal Languages Policy and the National Indigenous Languages Policy. In particular, we have an active program of supporting schools and NSW Aboriginal communities to develop long term educational partnerships that support language learning for students and communities. This support centres on language resource development, teaching and learning programs, professional support for Aboriginal language teachers and local and regional language planning.
