CTLDC symposium and meeting
The ILCAA, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies hosted two linked CTLDC events from 12-16 November 2010.

Consortium meeting
A two-day meeting of CTLDC planning group members from the Asia-Pacific region was held on 15-16 November.
Public symposium
A public symposium on the theme "Models for Capacity Development in Language Documentation and Conservation" was held from 12-13 November. This symposium comprised a series of presentations and panel discussions framed around different training models, such as grassroots/community-based training, university programs, summer institutes, intensive workshops, and so forth. The symposium was open to the public to permit Japanese scholars and others to learn more about the international capacity development activities being undertaken by CTLDC members.
