Amelia Fahie

Amelia Fahie is helping to develop resources on linguistic modules for RNLD’s Certificate III in Aboriginal languages for communities and workplaces.

She has worked with communities in the West Kimberley region, liaising with Aboriginal non-government organisations and community members in the field of education and community development. She is currently working in the Yiramalay-Wesley College Studio School as a residential mentor and classroom assistant with Indigenous students completing their high school certificate.

Amelia has a Bachelor of Arts (History and Australian Indigenous Studies) and a Diploma of Spanish from the University of Melbourne. In 2014, she will begin a Masters of Teaching (Secondary), also at the University of Melbourne.
