InField Institute on Field Linguistics and Language Documentation

InField is an opportunity for linguists, graduate students in linguistics, and native speakers of minority languages to receive training in a range of skills needed to document, maintain, and/or revitalize minority languages.

InField offers a two-week session of workshops on a range of topics related to language documentation, maintenance, and revitalization, followed by a four-week session of Field Training, an intensive course similar to a doctoral course on field methods, where students utilize the skills taught in the workshops.
